The Design/Build team of Ruscilli Construction and DesignGroup was selected for programming, design and construction of this 11,480 square foot multi-use addition for worship services, concerts, plays / musicals, intramural sports, and other church functions. The facility offers seating capacity for 500 people plus a full-size basketball court, restrooms with showers, book shop, coffee bar, commons and storage area. This project offered significant challenges originating with City approvals. Peace Lutheran Church offers a significant historic value to residents of both the church and community that, understandably, created mixed concern regarding the design. Ruscilli worked very successfully with the City of Gahanna and residents to ensure that the quality of the new addition would be consistent with the existing facility and neighborhood.
