This unique 321,000 square foot facility features 13 major “learning world” exhibits and incorporates a 243-seat space theater, 15,000 square foot planet ocean aquatic exhibit, 6,000 square foot space exploration/mission to Mars exhibit, 5,000 square foot basic science area, the way things work area, 4,000 square foot Ohio technologies area, a 994-seat I-WERKS large format film experience (motion-based simulators using IMAX/Omnimax-like productions), temporary/rotating exhibition and gallery areas, along with open public spaces, a restaurant, store, and maintenance/staging areas. These buildings are durable, functional and user-friendly while providing a unique and pleasant experience to visitors of all ages.
