Ruscilli Construction led the design, preconstruction, and construction efforts for the transformative Broad & High redevelopment, converting five condemned historic buildings at the iconic intersection of Broad Street and High Street in downtown Columbus into a vibrant mixed-use destination. The approximately 50,000sf project combined historic preservation with modern urban redevelopment, creating Class A office space, street-level retail, a WCMH-TV news studio, structured parking, and the luxury 8 on the Square condominiums. The highly visible project demanded complex phased construction, meticulous coordination within an active downtown environment, and innovative solutions to preserve the architectural character of the existing structures while incorporating contemporary building systems and premium finishes. The result is a landmark mixed-use development that helped revitalize one of Columbus’ most prominent corners and contributes to the continued growth of the city’s urban core.
