The Ohio State University | Cunz Hall
Columbus, Ohio
The Cunz Hall renovation consisted of a comprehensive modernization of floors one through four of the existing building to support the College of Public Health and the university’s classroom pool. The scope included significant building system upgrades, such as the installation of two new elevators, replacement of aging MEP systems, a new fire sprinkler system, and full replacement of the roof and window systems.
The renovated facility delivers modern medical and public health learning environments, including technology enabled classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, and wet laboratory spaces designed to support instruction and applied research. These laboratory and learning spaces were configured to accommodate current and future public health programs, providing flexible infrastructure, enhanced life safety systems, and environments conducive to hands on medical education, while positioning the building to support the evolving programmatic requirements for the College of Public Health.
