The Sumitomo Distribution Center is a 355,000sf facility developed to consolidate four existing operations into a single, centralized location, improving efficiency and service to customers. The building includes significant warehouse space supported by 24,000sf of office area and a 5,000sf automobile testing laboratory. Designed for large-scale distribution and operational flexibility, the facility features conventional structural steel framing, precast load-bearing wall construction, a single-ply membrane roof system, a 7-inch reinforced concrete slab, 50-foot by 50-foot interior bay spacing, and a 32-foot clear height. The facility supports the operations of Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, a leading manufacturer of automotive wiring harnesses, serving major automotive partners including Honda of America Manufacturing.
