Ruscilli Construction has partnered with Axium Plastics on a comprehensive, multi site
manufacturing and distribution expansion program in New Albany, Ohio, supporting
the company’s growth in advanced plastics production, warehousing, and logistics.
The program includes multiple large scale facilities designed for flexibility, equipment
intensive operations, and future manufacturing adaptability, all integrated within
Axium’s New Albany campus.
Beech Road
The program began with Axium’s Beech Road facilities, where Ruscilli constructed a
new 100,000sf precast and steel manufacturing facility on a seven acre site, along with
a 90,000sf expansion to an existing manufacturing building to significantly increase
warehouse capacity. These projects laid the groundwork for scalable production and
storage operations while accommodating evolving process requirements.
L Brands
At the L Brands Warehouse site, Ruscilli delivered an approximately 100,000sf warehouse
and production facility on an eight acre parcel, designed to support constant inbound
and outbound material flow. The facility includes 11 truck docks, 12 trailer parking
positions, and a 25,000sf crane bay equipped with a 25 ton overhead crane and dual
100 foot busways to allow production equipment to be relocated or reconfigured based
on customer needs. The building also features a two story pre manufactured office and
conference structure adjacent to a prominent employee and customer entrance with
curtain wall, ACM, and synthetic paneling, along with a dedicated drivers’ lounge to
support logistics operations.
Mink Road
The most recent phase of Axium’s expansion is the Mink Road facility, located at the
corner of Mink Road and Innovation Campus Way. Situated on approximately 26 acres,
the 315,000sf warehouse includes 25 truck docks and 40 trailer parking spaces and
was master planned to allow future conversion from storage to full manufacturing
operations as market demands evolve. Together, the Beech Road, L Brands, and Mink
Road projects represent a coordinated, forward looking campus strategy that balances
high volume logistics, equipment intensive production, and long term operational
flexibility.
