The Fortress Field project in Obetz, Ohio transforms the former Columbus Motor Speedway into a pioneering 50-acre, multi sport athletic and entertainment complex. At its core is a distinctive 6,500 seat, 18,000sf, three story castle like stadium structure that houses offices, concession stands, and restrooms, all anchored by 160 foot tall light standards capable of delivering up to 100 foot candles of illumination for premier competition. Built to accommodate many sports, the complex supports rugby, soccer, lacrosse, and football, and includes a spacious courtyard designed for community events, concerts, festivals, and large gatherings. In addition to its role as a national caliber professional sports venue, Fortress Field also served as the home field for the Ohio Machine Major League Lacrosse team, reinforcing its position as a versatile, high impact regional destination for both athletic performance and large scale entertainment.
