The Schottenstein Basketball Practice Facility Addition delivers a purpose built training environment for Ohio State Basketball, constructed directly adjacent to the existing Jerome Schottenstein Center. This 27,000sf expansion provides a new, dedicated basketball practice facility paired with a comprehensive weight training and conditioning center, strategically built over the existing west side loading dock to maximize space and maintain arena operations. The project required significant utility relocation and replacement to support new building systems and ensure seamless integration with the existing structure. Designed to enhance daily training efficiency and improve athlete development, the facility strengthens Ohio State’s athletic infrastructure while supporting long term program growth and competitiveness.
