The Upper Arlington High School Outdoor Athletic Facilities were delivered through a tightly sequenced, phased construction approach, with all work successfully completed within a five month window. The scope included the demolition and full reconstruction of 10 tennis courts during the summer of 2021, followed by comprehensive upgrades to the school’s baseball and softball complexes, each enhanced with masonry outbuildings, dugout structures, and two multipurpose practice fields designed to support all athletic programs. The project’s enhanced design solutions also included the installations of Field Turf across all field areas except outfields, where sod grass was selected to provide optimal playability. To meet the district’s competitive calendar, both the softball and baseball components were accelerated to ensure completion before the start of the 2022 seasons, allowing student athletes to return to fully modernized, high performance outdoor training and competition environments.
