Goodale Landing Level 4 Residents Tour

Yesterday at Goodale Landing, Ruscilli associates and Westminster Thurber welcomed residents of Level 4 to view their future homes.  The group enjoyed a dinner prepared by the Westminster-Thurber catering department and met their future neighbors.  Westminster-Thurber and Ruscilli have been welcoming residents in groups for viewing tours since early April, with the next meet-and-greet event scheduled for Level 5 residents at the end of May.  Ruscilli is proud to be part of this project, and adding beautiful apartment homes to Columbus’s thriving active adult community.

Make-A-Wish Volunteer Day!

A small group of Ruscilli Associates had the amazing opportunity to volunteer their time this past Saturday to help make a local Wish come true. Six year old Alex’s wish was for a therapy/play room where he can build strength while having fun in his own home. Alex is currently battling Dravet Syndrome, a rare and catastrophic form of epilepsy.

Ruscilli Associates picked up the toys to complete Alex’s therapy/play room from the home of a Make-A-Wish board member and transported them to Alex’s home in Upper Arlington where we set up the room for Alex’s use. The family was so thankful for our efforts.

A big Thank You to J. Yankle and Builders Resource for partnering with Ruscilli on this Wish. Thanks to them the room was ready for our group to setup the toys for Alex.  J. Yankle installed the wall pads and Builder’s Resource assisted with the padded flooring.

We are all so thankful that Ruscilli allows it’s employees to get involved with the community and volunteer our time for such amazing causes. The sheer joy on Alex’s face made it so worth it!

Thank you to Brandi and Brenna Gentzel, Michelle Cutie, Lisa and Jay Vonk, and Debbie Justi for volunteering your time.

Holiday for Heroes

Ruscilli Construction collected donations for our annual Holiday for Heroes drive in support of our troops during the holidays.  We were able to send 2 HUGE boxes packed with goodies for our troops! Below is the email we received from the Special Forces team that received our care packages:

 Leann,

I just wanted to email you and say that we received the care packages and are very grateful.  It’s nice to know that many of us still deployed are not forgotten by some back in the states.  Attached is a photo of the team taken at night in December. Thanks again!

Thank you for the generosity of our associates and Leann Krompass for organizing the collection!

Ruscilli Associates Serve at the YWCA Family Center

The YWCA Family Center provides emergency shelter and supportive services for up to 50 families every day by offering resources and support to stabilize families who are experiencing a housing crisis. Their Nationally recognized program strives to make the children and parents who stay with them comfortable during a highly stressful time. One powerful way they help is by offering families three meals every day.  Several Ruscilli associates spent the afternoon of August 27th greeting and serving lunch to all of the families at the shelter. Thank you to Carmen Tipple, Jim Coleman, Leann Krompass, Lindsay Clymer, Lisa Vonk, Mike Lehmkuhl, and Tony Ruscilli for taking the time to give back to those in need within our community.
