AEP Transmission Office
New Albany, Ohio
Ruscilli served as Construction Manager for American Electric Power’s Transmission Office Complex in New Albany, Ohio, delivering a two-phase workplace development totaling approximately 276,000sf of Class A office space. Phase I included the construction of a 196,000sf office building designed to support approximately 700 employees, featuring a mix of private offices and open workstations, along with a full-service cafeteria, fitness and wellness amenities, locker and shower facilities, a first-floor conference center, and flexible meeting and collaboration spaces.
Building on this success, Phase II added an 80,000sf, three-story office facility connected to the original building, expanding office capacity and providing additional meeting spaces, café areas, parking, and site infrastructure improvements including stormwater management systems. Both phases were designed and constructed to achieve LEED® certification, incorporating high-performance building systems, energy-efficient design strategies, and durable materials that enhance occupant comfort, reduce operational costs, and support long-term sustainability. Together, the completed campus provides a modern, highly functional work environment that supports collaboration, employee wellness, and AEP’s evolving operational and infrastructure needs.
