Project Spotlight – Miami Trace Local Schools New High School

Much progress has been made on the new, 165,000 square foot Miami Trace High School. The new structure is being constructed on a nearly 60-acre piece of farmland to the east of the football stadium.

Over the past few months, contractors have been hard at work on the masonry walls that serve as the supportive backbone for the school.

On the ground floor of the main academic wing, crews have been busy installing heating and cooling duct-work, overhead electrical conduit and water piping.

Four large air-handling units have been placed in the second floor mechanical rooms; each of these units is as large as a school bus.

Concrete crews have poured the walls that will serve as the orchestra pit and stage in the new Auditorium. The crews will now focus on removing dirt to create the slope for the auditorium floor.

Roadway changes connecting the new school to the existing campus are almost complete. Crews reconfigured the main drive, as well as the middle school and bus garage parking lots.

The new High School is set to open January 2019.

Project Spotlight – OSU Schumaker Student-Athlete Development Center

The 108,000 square foot Schumaker Student-Athlete Development Complex will provide a state-of-the-art facility for the nutritional, physical, and psychological development of student-athletes on 33 teams at Ohio State. Over 800 student-athletes will lift, condition, train, and rehabilitate injuries in the complex, while also benefiting from nutritional and mental preparation for peak performance.

This new facility will be the training “hub” for 33 Olympic sport teams. It will be located in the heart of the Athletic District and connected to the iconic Woody Hayes Athletic Center at the Les Wexner Football Complex.

Onsite, our team is currently finalizing the steel and deck erection with framing to follow. The MEP trades are underway and blockwork continues.

The boxes sent contain food and snacks, personal hygiene items, reading materials, and good wishes of love and support.

Operation Buckeye provides caring civilians the opportunity to show their appreciation and respect to the men and women of our military stationed in hostile and remote regions of the world. To learn more, you can visit: http://www.operationbuckeye.org/.

Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers 2017

Since 1945, we've been laying the foundation for successful construction.

Ruscilli was named one of Central Ohio’s Healthiest Employers at Business First’s Healthiest Employers Awards & Wellness Expo this morning! Thank you to our corporate wellness administrator, AccelWELL, for  nominating us! The assessment process is a web-based survey composed of 75 scored questions that focused on six key areas of workplace wellness: culture and leadership commitment; foundational components; strategic planning; communications and marketing; programming and interventions; and reporting and analysis.

Ruscilli is excited to be making strides its corporate wellness program and will continue to encourage its associates to tap into the different elements of overall wellness; physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational, and financial.

Trevor’s Wish to be a Construction Worker!

Ruscilli was so blessed to be a part of making a wish come true for a little boy named Trevor. Four-year-old Trevor has been battling medullablastoma for the last two years. His days have been filled with doctor’s appointments and trips to the hospital. However, Trevor doesn’t let this get in the way of doing what he loves most: playing ‘construction’ with his little brother Riley. Pretending to work on a construction site – just like his dad does – is a game that never gets old.

Trevor along with his parents, Nick and Sarah and little brother Riley made a visit to our Friendship Village of Dublin jobsite where the family had lunch with the FVD and Make-A-Wish team. Fully equipped and dressed for the part, Trevor and Riley were ‘put to work’ “driving” excavation equipment and laying brick and mortar to build a wall.

Thank you to Make-A-Wish for allowing Ruscilli to be a part of this very memorable day. A special thank you to Friendship Village of Dublin for allowing this event on their property, Mr. Excavator for lending excavating equipment along with an operator to assist during this event, RVM Construction for assisting with the brick laying, Jendco Safety for donating youth size apparel, Exit 121 for taking care of the logos, and of course to Ruscilli’s Project Team for assisting with this Wish and making this day possible.

Trevor and his family touched all of our hearts and we will never forget it!
